Summary
The Dessendre family has ruled over Paris' criminal underground for as long as Gustave can remember. Murder, theft, trafficking, there is no crime they haven't committed, yet their wealth and influence has allowed them to walk free for generations. For Gustave and his allies, taking down the family's matriarch, Aline Dessendre, is the only way to free Paris from villainy.
Unfortunately for him, fighting the Paintress comes with many unexpected challenges, including foiling the plans of the elusive thief Visages and getting into a fake relationship with Aline's only son, Verso.
An Enemies to Lovers story in which Gustave is a vigilante with a stalking problem and the Dessendres are supervillains.

Summary
Having her ties cut from her Paintress counterpart, Clea is finally free to return to her childhood home — or at least something closely resembling it. But the slight strangeness of the manor where the painted Dessendre siblings finally reunite in is nothing compared to the uncanniness of their eldest sister, now closer to a Nevron than human, and permanently so.
For Clea it might just be the longest day of her life, becoming aware of the many ways in which she has become ill-suited for the life people want her to return back to.

Summary
"Alright," Gustave says, and his voice has changed. It is still warm, still kind, but there is something underneath it now—authority, assurance, a command that sends goosebumps racing down Verso's spine and settling low in his gut. "Here's what's going to happen."
He leans in, his mouth close to Verso's ear, his breath hot against sensitive skin. "You're going to be a good boy," he murmurs, and the words land like a physical touch, making Verso shiver.
Verso is nineteen, broke, and plays piano in a Chicago bar where he's too young to have a drink. A runaway from France, he keeps his heart behind three locks and his tips in a mason jar, and he doesn't let anyone close enough to burn him.But Gustave is patient—the kind of patient that knows exactly what it's doing. And when he finally gets Verso into his bed, it turns out he's been playing a much longer game than Verso realized—and that being good for someone might be the thing Verso has been starving for all along.

Summary
Instinctively, Lune placed her fingers on the frets while gently plucking the strings. A soft melody drifted from the instrument, transporting her to another world. Enveloped by the music, Lune felt shielded from everything—the city, the inhabitants of Lumière, her family, and her responsibilities. The sea breeze accompanied the guitar, humming a siren’s song.
Each note caressed the flower petals; the pollen vibrated in rhythm with the strings. The glow of the lights reflected off the smooth wood of Lune’s guitar, as if her music were illuminating the fields of flowers.
"Wow, you play so well!"
The exclamation made Lune jump. Her fingers slipped across the strings, bringing the song to an abrupt, jarring halt.
A brown-haired girl was watching her, leaning against a large flowerpot. Her eyes were a piercing green—Lune could see them clearly despite the riot of colors from the plants. Her tanned skin was dusted with freckles and beauty marks, though a scar ran across her nose and the tops of her cheeks. Despite the mark on her face, Lune guessed the girl was about her own age—twenty-two or twenty-three at most.
She was the most beautiful woman Lune had ever seen.
