Craftsman hand on princeling wrist, he guided Maekar to reverently feel the coarse grains of steel with the pad of a thumb. Preached to him that a blade was defined by its absence just as much as its substance. To only trust in an edge starved thin.

Growing up, Maekar learned to survive on very little. Fourth sons ought not to ask for much, if at all. Baelor disagreed.
