Summary
“Oh, fuck me,” the witcher says.
Jaskier looks at the witcher, really looks, and for the first time takes note of the wolf’s head medallion sitting on his chest.
“Oh fuck off,” Jaskier says, but it was more of a whine than anything. “Of course you’re Geralt’s brother, because destiny hates me or something. So which one are you? Lambert?”
“You’re Geralt’s bard,” Lambert, it’s definitely Lambert says.
Jaskier and Lambert are both nearing rock bottom when fate and a bar fight draws them together. Jaskier's angry and grieving after Geralt leaves him behind on a mountain. Lambert is struggling to walk the Path alone after the loss of Aiden. They're a match made in heaven - or in hell - and they'll drag each other out of the gutter by force.

Summary
Simon has been living on Erid for a year. As far as the Eridians are concerned, Simon is just a normal regular guy. The eel teeth, the scales, the tree bark? All normal human things. Simon lets them believe it. What are they gonna do, check?
Then Adrian’s mate arrives with another human in tow, and Simon’s panicking. If the savior of Erid thinks he’s a monster, if he leverages the debt Erid owes him to kick Simon out…
Grace knows he’s a guest in this stranger’s home - Adrian made it very clear that said stranger is cagey around new people and if he asks Grace to leave, Grace has to go back on the Hail Mary until they can build him his own place. After four years crammed in a small space ship, Grace is desperate to be allowed to stay.
There’s a miscommunication in there somewhere.

“I called it the Good Luck quilt,” Grace says. “It’s all symbols of luck from across the world, it was a parting gift before the mission - but let’s not get into all that. It’s silly but it’s comforted me through some pretty hard times. I thought…I don’t know. I’m probably just being sentimental.”
Simon grasps the edge of the quilt that he can reach, if only to make sure it’s real. It’s beautiful. There’s not a lot of color left in the world, and colorful, soft fabric of this quality is worth a fortune. The patterns are joyful, almost childish. For some reason that Simon can’t quite articulate through the sickness and exhaustion, it makes him suddenly very certain that this isn’t the COI.
In Simon’s old universe, fabric, thread, and yarn are all precious commodities. He's had to learn to mend clothes and knit socks out of practicality. On Erid, it's a way to pay back what he owes, to make friends, and eventually, to heal.

“Is the alien…dangerous?” he asks slowly.
“No! No, no he’s my friend, he’s - uh, well, the engineer of the Hail Mary,” says Grace. “Look, I’m just saying that - he’s gonna wake up soon, and we don’t need to tell him about how our first meeting went. We can gloss over the whole ‘tackle me to the ground and scare the daylights out of me’ thing. I won’t tell if you won’t.”
Simon is 90% sure this is going to come back to bite him in the form of blackmail but he nods anyways, because it sure as hell sounds like Grace is implying Simon will be allowed to stay a while longer.
Rocky sleeps through the absolute shitshow that is Simon and Grace’s first meeting. It’s probably for the best.
Despite it all, it will be the start of beautiful friendship.

He skitters around the table and parks himself at Grace’s feet. “They put me in that fucking coffin with almost nothing. The med kit was a goddamn joke. And you have a med bay. And filtration systems? I barely got water. Forget about fucking rations. And you have –”
The one where Simon was a pilot and his ship was named Tokki (bunny), and Grace figures out that Simon’s mom was Korean and makes a language learning app

Summary
Ryland Grace— savior of two planets— uses that title to get whatever he wants from the rock aliens that serve him. That familiar, human, tendency to abuse status and power is the only reason Simon knows that this is real— that Erid and Ryland aren't another trick, and Simon the Butcher gets to keep them.
Only, he's known Ryland for months now, and the short tempered, scarily intelligent, sad, *kind*, man he knows doesn't seem like the type to ask for anything at all
The rock that barely tolerates him has a surprise for both of them, and Simon still has more to learn about his housemate.
Or: Simon falls in love with Grace's flaws before his virtues
