It was hard to trust, but Margaery’s kindness was far better than Cersei’s cruelty, even if it could be withdrawn if it no longer suited Margaery. Sansa supposed the key was to make sure it always suited Margaery.

And on the right, a brown-skinned boy with black hair and the faintest shadow of a scowl. All three of them have been photographed from the shoulders up wearing black blazers and a tie. School photos, if Emily were to guess.
“What do we know about the victims?”
“Our third victim is Damian Wayne, son of Bruce Wayne – yes, that Bruce Wayne.”

The agreed upon meeting location was in the far western reaches of the province, where the problems were most dire, which meant it was necessary to travel through what Maia knew very well were some of the most unpleasant parts of the empire.
It was Telimezh who finally proposed a solution.
"Serenity," he said, "our family resides in the township of Calestho. Our home is humble, but it is comfortable, and we are certain our parents would be pleased to host you for a night."
While passing through Thu-Evresar on official business, Maia stays a night with Telimezh's family, and learns more than he ever expected to about his people.

We were at that moment visited by a terrible, inevitable vision of the Ethuverazhid Zhas cornered by our mother, and we confess we had to lean on the wall in a brief violation of Alchenar IX.I.VI. Even the edocharei seemed taken aback; even Cala. Edrehasivar looked horribly dismayed at this non-reaction, and immediately started to backtrack.
"We do not wish to inflict ourself," he said wretchedly. "It was only a— a thought…" He trailed off, but the pause persisted. In it, we reflected to ourself that while we had taken knives for this boy, and would willingly take plenty more, he had — indeed, has — a talent for making us want to scream in dismay.
