Summary
Before he can force out another word, the double doors at the back of the church burst open. The sound cracks through the silence, wood striking hard against the walls. Shane whips his head around along with everyone else, his grip on Rose's hand going slack.
He stares, completely dumbfounded.
Ilya Rozanov stands in the open doorway, windswept and disheveled, his golden curls in complete disarray. His shirt is wrinkled and partially untucked, his chest heaving as if he's run ten miles without a break. A woman stands beside him looking just as breathless, one hand braced against the doorframe while she fights to pull air into her lungs.
Ilya's wild gaze searches the church before landing on Shane.
"Stop the wedding!" he shouts.
