Alright, so maybe a piece of slate bread wasn't enough to tame a monster, but who could blame him for trying. Boredum had lowered his already non-existant survival instincts, and repressed anger had made him too proud to call for help. He'd rather blame this unfortunate encounter on Geralt. Do not ignore your bard during an entire dragon hunt and expect him to behave safely.

Summary
Flowers were such pretty, delicate things. Always a source of inspiration for any poet, but not so much when they crawled up the poet's throat though. As Jaskier walked away from Geralt, he felt far from inspired by the blood and petals gathering in his mouth.

When Newt gets sick, it's up to Thomas to take care of him. If he had known how the blond was when he had a flu, or more precisely, when he was given a terrible medication that completely messed with his brain, he would've found a way to get out of the Maze just to escape this responsability, because now that the roles are reversed, Thomas finds out that taking care of a reckless mind isn't that easy.

Roy held his gaze for a bit longer, clearly testing to see if he would push any further. When Jamie stayed silent, he nodded curtly and turned to leave. He opened the door, but stood still in the doorway, turning his head back to Jamie one more time, his next words quiet. “Just… be more fucking careful, Tartt. You’re going to get yourself killed.”
Despite the weight of Roy’s words, Jamie’s face broke out into a grin. “Good thing I’ve got you to watch my back, then.”

Summary
The energy of the room shifts suddenly as Jamie’s eyes widen. It’s as though he’s just waking up, looking around quickly to get his bearings straight- as if he doesn’t remember coming to Roy’s house at all. Maybe he doesn’t. When his startled expression finally lands on Roy just off to the side, Jamie’s eyebrows raise even though his shoulders relax. He looks down at the bath again.
“What’s this?” Jamie asks as he combs a hand through the beer head of bubbles on top of the water.
“A bubble bath,” Roy says gruffly. He stares straight forward at the open-faced cabinet in front of him that has piles of fresh black towels on each shelf.
A pause. “You put me in a bubble bath?”
or the one where roy and jamie have a run in with tarrt senior and roy has no idea what he's doing even though he's trying really hard
