Summary
“Oh, don’t even worry about it. I got you something, Cap,” Evan Dykstra excitedly reaches in his bag. “For you and your hubby.”
Shane sets his shoes in the locker, but he cannot help but glance over.
Dykstra pulls out a glass jar from the bag and crosses the room, proudly setting it on Ilya’s shelf in his locker.
Shane’s ears burn. His heart hammers. His chest clenches and his fingers go numb as he stares at the jar, proudly labeled with the letters PDA._____
Shane is anxious about joining the Centaurs, fearing that they will be assholes like they Voyagers were, especially when it comes to his relationship with Ilya. When the team presents the two of them with a PDA jar as a joke at their first practice, Shane spirals and takes it seriously, thinking the team is setting rules for them. Things eventually come to a head when Ilya is injured during practice, and Ilya realizes the misunderstanding that took place between his husband and his team.

Summary
"Yuna, hi,” Ilya said, and winced when his voice came out only as a rough whisper. He cleared his throat and tried again. “Yuna?”
“Ilya, what’s wrong? Is Shane okay? Are you okay?” Ilya was thankful that she sounded awake. At least he hadn't woken her up, though why she was awake this early on a Saturday morning, Ilya couldn't even guess.
“Shane is okay. I am sorry it is so early, but...” He hesitated, feeling a little bit ashamed, though logically he knew he shouldn’t be. Either way, he didn't think he could handle this himself anymore. “I am not feeling well. I – I think I need some help.”

Summary
Shane suddenly remembered that Lisa was a doctor at a children’s hospital. He had a sinking feeling that it couldn’t be a good sign that she was talking to him using what he suspected was her doctor voice.
“It’s just a bad stomachache,” Shane told her.
He opened his mouth again to tell her that he’d had worse, but closed it when he realized that actually, that definitely wasn't true. He hadn’t ever felt anything like this. In fact, he was starting to think that breaking his collarbone again would be preferable to his current situation.
