"Today was just an ordinary day. Just like any other uneventful day on the Express. Sure, there weren’t many uneventful days in the life of a Nameless, but today was one of them. At least, that’s what Dan Heng led himself to believe.
Because unlike other days, he finally had time to wind down in the archives, silently hoping that others had not remembered that today was in fact his birthday. He hoped the recent turn of events had made them forget it.
Not for any particular reason, of course, but Dan Heng had never really liked to celebrate the day of his birth. Or, in other words, rebirth. Especially given the circumstances around his rebirth that had haunted him for years and years."

Summary
It was a heatwave, so what better way than to end a long day of work with a boat trip while the sun sets? All three of them never knew what fate was actually awaiting them, and unknowingly walked into an adventure that would change all of their lives. Underneath the full moon in the crater of a volcano, they never knew that they would be bestowed a blessing; or in hindsight, a curse?
March, Stelle and Dan Heng have to find out how to balance their new lives while keeping their secrets without any clue what happened, nor what exactly changed. How difficult can keeping secrets really be when you're one drop of water away from spilling everything? Will the shared secret between them drive them closer or actually apart?

" “Uhm. I don’t mean to interrupt but…” Sunday spoke up, “…this book reads Ghost Huntin’, A Survivor’s Guide.”
“What?” Dan Heng turned towards him slowly and glanced at the small book. Sunday nudged it closer towards him so he could read it. He had been right. The small book did read exactly that.
“Ghost what now?!” March exclaimed. “Hey, wait— how is this supposed to be the Simulated Universe?! It sounds nothing like what you told me about!”
Stelle shrugged. “It definitely isn’t.” "OR

"It was terrifying. Absolutely terrifying.
Stelle thought – since she survived multiple unfair fights and situations where she shouldn’t have been able to walk alive – that she wouldn’t be scared of such a simple thing. Or was it?
Stelle staggered against the wall of the Passenger Cabin she’d been passing through, and she could swear that the whale-lights that carved the path on the ceiling multiplied, perhaps once or twice. She couldn’t really make it out anymore, her vision blurring.
Her free hand clutched her chest, a futile attempt to stop the stinging feeling in her chest that only worsened by the second, a scorching heat sent through her body with each surge."OR
After the fight against Fulwish at the TV Tower, the huge amounts of wishes that entered Stelle through the Wishpower didn't remain harmless after staying dormant for a few days. Stelle starts feeling the effects of the Stellaron twisting the wishes.

“Stelle?” a familiar voice sounded rather suddenly from behind her. She turned around swiftly to see Mr. Yang standing there, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes before putting his glasses back on. It seemed he had woken up, whether that was by her or by something else. “I thought I heard some distant noise. Turns out I was right.”
“Oh,” Stelle said flatly, not thinking she’d been loud enough for him to hear. Apparently, she had. “Hi, Mr. Yang.”"OR
Stelle couldn't sleep and went for a walk in the Express, unexpectedly coming across Welt in the Parlor Car. They end up talking over hot soup about what happened in Amphoreus at three AM.
