“it is a very surprising turn of event.” The pro gamer whispered, after drinking the cool water. He put the bottle down on some counter and cupped the idol’s face and gently kissing him.
The reader’s arms were soon wrapped around his neck and he was on his tippy toes. The kiss turned very not-so-gentle.

Batman just tried to kill him.
No. Not Batman.
Jean-Paul just tried to kill him.
Tim can still feel the hands—or talons, considering all the modifications Jean-Paul did to the usual gauntlet—around his neck, squeezing the air out of him. And it's not like he managed to get free of his own; no, it was just luck that Jean-Paul finally came to his senses, and if it happened just a little bit later, Tim would be just another dead boy wearing the Robin costume.
And Tim doesn't know what to do. Jean-Paul is out of control, becoming increasingly violent, and Tim fears it's only a matter of time before he kills someone and tarnishes the Batman mantle beyond repair. Even when Bruce was at his worst, he never scared Tim, not in the way Jean-Paul does.
The obvious answer is that Batman needs to be stopped, but by who? Tim is not enough; he can't take down Jean-Paul, not when the system is guiding his actions. Tonight showed that. But who else is there?
