Almost two years ago, he decided to work in a dedicated club instead of taking private clients. The vetting’s half-done before he even sees a name, and the shared space offers a certain degree of security and style. It also offers people who he never would have knowingly taken on as a submissive - one of whom is now apparently his, exclusively.
“Would you please deal with him,” Hikaku mutters. The gauzy curtains that hang throughout the club are a fire hazard if he’s ever seen one. They do, however, provide enough privacy that Tobirama hasn’t noticed him sitting at the other end of the bar yet.
“Just kick him out if he’s breaking rules.”
Hikaku hesitates. “Well…it's not that -”
The other bartender pulls a face. “He’s just…an ass.”

The Senju and Uchiha have not merged into the coveted united front. They rarely mingle, self-constricted to their respective compounds. Only obligation will bring an Uchiha into perceived Senju territory. The Senju likewise do not tend to pay visits to the Uchiha.
With Madara occupied and tensions rising, the responsibility of the Uchiha clan's equality is undertaken by Izuna. If the task itself wasn't onerous enough, the only person capable of helping him is the same asshole whose sword met Izuna's organs in the not-so-distant past.

Before that, Tobirama was a demon on the field, inheriting the Hatake urge for violence and blodlust, the need to eat other humans.
The other clans rejoiced at Tobirama's 'death', but he is not truly dead.
Instead, he is alive in an underground fighting ring, forced to kill without hesitation to protect a child who doesn't even know who he is. After years of torture, Tobirama doesn't even remember who he is anymore, only that he needs to protect the child with his life.
And that is how Madara finds him, broken, hurt, merely a shadow of who he once was. And he makes it his job to help him.
