Arvid flexed his jaw, face hardening.
“I don’t know Liam, whoever you want.” Arvid sounded angry, but not at Liam.
I want you. Liam thought desperately but he refused to embarrass himself that bad.
“I heard you.” Liam finally said. “In your driver's room.” Arvid's face dropped a bit, panic rising in his features.
“Fuck, I’m really sorry Liam…you shouldn’t have had to hear that-“
“Did you mean it? That I could be your good boy?” Liam sniffled.
Something in Arvid's face shifted and he finally seemed to realize what was happening.
“I don’t know Liam,” he said slowly. “Can you be?” His eyes were darkening and Liam knew he’d hit the right button. “It wasn’t very good when you stole my sweatshirt was it?”

“Hey, Chim,” Eddie says, turning his attention to their new captain.
“Mh?”
“Buck and I have a present for you!”
“For me?” “We do?” Chim and Buck ask at the same time.
“Our present for you is a day off from parent duty. You and Maddie can do whatever you want to celebrate Captain Han and we will babysit the kids,” Eddie explains with a smile.
From the corner of his eye he can see how Buck cocks his head for a moment before his smile returns in full force as he hugs Jee-Yun closer to his body. “Do you hear that, Jee Jee? You’re getting a whole day of uncle Buck and uncle Eddie time. Isn’t that exciting?”
Or a post 9x01 fic in which a baby monitor and a overheard love confession might just give Eddie everything he's ever wanted.
