Summary
“I thought we agreed we wouldn't have to see each other again after this,” Megumi reminds him.
“That was before your boss threatened to kill you over a ship,” Itadori scoffs. “Besides, I'm the one who stole it in the first place. That makes me at least forty percent responsible for wrecking it.”
Megumi swallows. What’s he supposed to say to that? Thanking him doesn’t really feel right, but ignoring him doesn’t sit well with Megumi either.
“It’s really not your problem,” Megumi settles on after a moment of deliberation.
“I’m making it my problem,” Itadori says decisively.
In which Yuuji purposefully steals a ship, accidentally steals an engineer, throws both their lives into chaos, and somehow manages to stick the landing. Metaphorically, that is.

Summary
Almost a year into dating Megumi, Yuuji runs into his ex-girlfriend.
As she recounts all the ways Yuuji was in love with his best friend without even realizing it, Megumi discovers he enjoys being the reason their relationship was such a disaster a little more than he should.
Unfortunately, being the one Yuuji loved all along doesn't make Megumi any less jealous of the girl who got to have him first.
