When Hunith arrives in Camelot with news of an attack, Merlin knows what he has to do. He is perfectly capable of driving away the likes of Kanen’s men by himself; he has been defending Ealdor since he was ten years old.

Summary
Merlin, secret sorcerer, and not so secret Alpha makes a serious splash on his arrival in Camelot. Secret Omega Arthur now has to survive it.
Lots of tropes, I have no shame, and random additional characters when I felt like it. Some bits of canon but again only when I felt thus inclined; and I changed half of it. Maximum self indulgence included as standard.

Summary
Only Merlin's soulmate could be oblivious enough not to realise he's meeting his own when said soulmate is swinging a fist at his face.
Lucky for Merlin. It gives him just enough time to hide the truth from the Prince before the cabbagehead notices.
And really, it's for the best. Merlin is neither pretty nor a girl nor particularly well-endowed.
Materialistically.
He can still be there for his Prince, shepherd him into Gwen's arms, and usher in that fabled golden age from the sidelines.
It's not like the truth will ever come out. Or destroy everything Merlin ever cared about.
Namely, his friendships.
