"Guess you’re really never fighting again," Sam says more to himself.Five months ago when Bucky had revealed he was retiring, Sam honestly thought the man might grow bored and rethink the decision. Apparently not.
"I’ll still be able to kick your ass, Wilson,” Bucky quips, maybe to deter from the awkward silence Sam let fall in his processing. It makes it easy to snap out of his haze.
"In your dreams, Barnes."
"We'll fight when it's done," Bucky comments neutrally.
Sam shakes his head incredulously.
"Dude, I’m not meeting you in the parking lot for a fight. Just go get that dumb serum out of you,” Sam grins.
