Ah. It seems his days as an NPC are coming to an end. Shen Yuan lights a candle in his soul for what little sense of peace he still had. RIP. Gone before its time.

Now he’s found Shen Yuan again, he is not going to let him go – not since the world has taught him how tightly you have to hold onto what you want.
Shang Qinghua would like less of a front row seat to this bizarre bridenapping, actually. How the hell has this NPC derailed his plot so badly??

Although the boy was missing the sharp facial features hidden beneath stubborn baby fat, if the boy’s stare changed from one of curiosity to a harsher look, they could easily be mistaken as brothers. Or even worse—

Shen Qingqiu could laugh if he wasn’t simmering in irritation. They wanted him to claim a broken bastard child who wasn’t even his.
