There was a man sitting in the far corner of the living room, near the torn screen door. He was sitting on a rusted metal folding chair that looked like it might buckle under him, but he sat perfectly still, like a statue carved out of grief.
Daryl blinked, his eyes narrowing. He knew Will’s crew. He knew the regulars, the drifters, the desperate men who came for the free booze and the poker. He didn't know this guy.
The man - Rick, Daryl as had heard others call him - was a sore thumb in a room full of broken fingers.
The other men were red-faced, their skin shiny with grease and sweat, shirts unbuttoned to show sunburned chests. They were loud, taking up space, expanding with every drink.

Jason Carver needs an Alpha. He needs to be loved. He needs someone to give him permission to stop carrying the cross on his back, the guilt in his chest, the shame in his gut; he needs someone who can help him stop crying himself to sleep and start being honest with himself about who and what he is and isn't.
Eddie Munson wants an Omega to want him for more than a fuck in a concert venue.
