When L’manberg suffers a suspicious death or an unfindable missing person, citizens side eye each other and mutter that ‘vampires must have got them’, before going on with their lives, avoiding dark alleys.
Everyone knows it’s not really vampires. It’s better to invoke a mythical creature than let the real culprits know you know they exist.
But awareness doesn’t always equal safety, and Technoblade finds himself in an underground medical facility. He gets out, but the wounds inflicted during the attack leave weird scars. And worse, his murderers aren't willing to give up their hit.

The son of a politician, he moves from Cove City to the Capitol when his father is promoted. The Capitol has their own monster hunters - and their own threats.
Shaggy Rogers is a bloodline knight, descended from those who first defended the Crystal Kingdom against Abyss Creatures. Creatures terrified him, monsters adored him, and the Capitol thought he was only useful for two things. At least he had Scooby-Doo, the rescue dog who'd found his way past the barrier.This is just a fantasy au.

It was Family Day.
The V.Ks were milling around, subtly sticking together, pretending they couldn't feel the gazes on them, judging, suspicious.
None of them had wanted to come. They didn't want to subject themselves to this—a day of unease, of bearing the weight of the people's distrust. They didn't want to spend the entire day walking on eggshells, shoulders hunched and faces sullen, made to carry guilt that didn't belong to them.
They couldn't seem too happy, smile too widely, or laugh too loudly. They needed to play the part of the reformed reprobates: all too aware of their crimes, and trying to atone all the same.
Except, they'd committed no crime. There was nothing for them to atone for. The group had spent their entire lives imprisoned for their parents' misdeeds. Misdeeds which the children had paid the price for ten times over.
It wasn't fair.
Yet there they stood.

The Isle was hell, and the VKs know it. No one else does, though. Not really.
Persephone decides to show the gathered crowd something they never expected, something worse than they could have imagined.Ignorance is bliss, but now they know.
