Summary
Legend has it that road gremlins can't stand the sound of a guardian bell. The constant ringing drives them insane, making them lose their grip on the motorbike until they fall to the ground. They are most effective when given to you by a loved one who wants you back safely.
When Dennis hands Robby a little golden bell right before the departure for his sabbatical, Robby almost wishes he didn't recognize the meaning it holds. Because keeping safe on the road is one thing, but figuring out how to stop running is another.

Summary
The soft bell of the front door chimed as Robby stepped out onto the wet concrete.
The front of his recently opened vet clinic 'Pittlings' had some old awnings that he’d booked to have removed within the week, but luckily for him, it now offered some protection against the rain. He leaned against the front windows, and just breathed in the fresh air, and closed his eyes to give them a break from the constant stimuli.
After a few seconds of peace, a certain noise broke through the pattering of drops and the chaotic breeze. Something short, high pitch, and squeaky. Robby opened his eyes once more, looked around to try and locate the source, but saw nothing.
For a moment he thought he imagined it, only to hear the same sound once more, a bit louder, coming from the alleyway right next to the clinic.
Ignoring the rain, Robby rounded the corner and found the source: A small Pembroke corgi, seemingly abandoned, shivering in the cold rain, emaciated and unconscious, crying, and whining in a way that broke Robby’s heart.
OR Robby finds a cute corgi abandoned outside of his newly opened veterinary clinic, and got a lot more puppy than he bargained for.

Summary
Was it really fucking your boss if he just fucked your thighs? Dennis insisted it wasn’t when he had found himself in Robby's bed with an opportunity of a lifetime.
"You're dangerous, Whitaker."
"This is just the beginning." Dennis stuck out the tip of his tongue past his gapped teeth.
Robby chuckled and shook his head. "You're a little pervert." Robby's forehead met his. "I can't fuck you, sweetheart, remember?"
Dennis pouted. "You've fucked other residents."
Robby's eyes widened before his expression smoothed out into false neutrality. "Maybe I learned my lesson."
"Mm, maybe." Dennis ran his nails up Robby's neck until he was scratching at his scalp. Robby shivered above him and sighed out a moan. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see." Dennis then pushed Robby away and flipped onto his side to face away from him.
