Baelor is thirty six, the crown prince, and has buried one wife already. He did not ask for another but a rebellion does not care what you ask for, and so he found himself wed to a brother half his age in the name of Targaryen unity.
Maekar is eighteen, an omega, and has spent three years at Summerhall understanding exactly what he is to his husband; an arrangement. A political necessity. An afterthought, not that this is anything new.
With the rebellion reshaping itself and a unified front to maintain, they are summoned to King's Landing to begin the marriage in earnest.

Aegon presents as an alpha in what he is fairly sure is the worst way possible. He spends the next few years suffering as he waits to marry Jace. But he and his nephew have an arrangement. Rules, for him to alleviate his suffering. At least a little. Until Jace can do it himself. Absolutely nothing could go wrong with that.
Eventually, it'll all be worth it though.
Starts with the fight in the training yard and goes from there, but no sexual activity between Jace and Aegon until they're both older.

Baelor Targaryen was everything a prince of the blood ought to be. Tall, broad of shoulder and long of limb, with the strong jaw and straight nose tempered by the darker skin and black hair of his Dornish mother, the complete heterochromia nature of his eyes made him all the more charming to the young ladies at court. While many lords looked upon him and muttered that he was more Martell than Targaryen, none could deny his prowess in martial art and his honorable spirit.
He also had a habit of fidgeting.
Baelor has a habit of fidgeting that he tampers down with rings on his fingers, and later on: Maekar.
