Summary
The cookie could see nothing but water dripping from the sky, glinted gold with streetlights, but now there was a darker, flickering light, an orange and red glow slowly coming into view. It reminded him of a candle.
He squinted as a glowing silhouette slowly came into view ahead of him. He couldn't make out the features of this cookie at all, except for the light they were emitting.
But as they came closer, he quickly took note of the figure's flaming hair, flickering under a huge umbrella they were holding. His heart skipped a beat.
The figure started to walk— no, float briskly towards him, and suddenly, he was standing right in front of the most comforting warmth he'd ever felt, accompanied by a familiar face.
"…Fire Spirit?"
(Wind Archer and Fire Spirit walk together under an umbrella in the rain and talk about stuff. That's about it)

Drifting through the night air, a Spirit floats around.
The ocean breeze catches at his heels and lifts him higher into the abyss of the black sky. He giggles and lets it carry him around.
Pinpricks of starlight glimmer above, as if to welcome him to this place.
He has no memory of how he got here, but here, between heaven and earth, he feels safe. He feels free.
Above, the White Ball shines brightly, the gently glowing orb flooding his eyes. It’s so much larger and brighter up here, and he can see every imperfection on its perfect face.
He feels the call. But it's faint, like a whisper.(Hawaii part ii x Firewind story I wrote for school)

Summary
Wind Archer has arrived at his new university. An awkward freshman finding his footing amidst the way too loud campus, he finds a coffee shop called the "Hearth & Grind." It becomes his sanctuary among the chaos, just one medium black coffee at 07:45, and hopefully, a few minutes of peace before his lectures begin.
At least, that was the plan.
Fire Spirit runs the morning and afternoon shifts, trusty sharpie and twinkling mischievous eyes in tow. He refuses to call Wind Archer by his real name and the coffee cups always arrive bombarded with ridiculous nicknames, warm messages, and a desire to know him better.
And for some reason... Wind Archer keeps coming back.
