Summary
Buffy Summers is dead. Without a protector, the Scoobies summon the remaining Slayer, choosing to hope that they, and Faith, can put aside their past to keep Sunnydale safe.
Then Willow decides that she wants to bring Buffy back.
When Buffy returns, her friends say that she's different, wrong. Faith's hardly saved anyone, much less herself, but soon it's clear that only another Slayer can give Buffy the help that she needs, no matter how much they might hurt each other in the process.

This was not supposed to happen. This was exactly why she wanted to stay in the past. It's why she argued with Coulson about coming back. They told her. They told her she would crack the earth like an egg if she got her powers back. Why did he do it?
What the hell happened to them? When in the world did they lose themselves this much? How did it get this far?
Now she felt like they were both monsters. The one person she always knew had her back ambushed her, tied her to a table and cut into her without any remorse. Listening to her beg and plead. And not caring.
And her? She would cause the destruction of the earth. She would doom them all. What a pair they were.
Maybe Ward was right. Maybe she was just like him. She was the destroyer of worlds adter all.

Melinda May felt empty. She's been feeling empty ever since she woke up after the ordeal with Sarge and Izel.
So when Daisy and Sousa went missing, May felt nothing. And she had a nagging feeling that she should be. She should be worried, frantic, trying to find her. Because this was Daisy. Her daughter in everything but blood. But she just couldn't find it in herself to really care.
