No, I don’t have a concussion. Yes, I was born like this. And no, I can’t see the future or the past or anything besides what’s right in front of me. Which, at the moment, is less than pleasant.”
The grin the boy had been aiming at Nico since tapping him on the shoulder slowly dropped, but he didn’t otherwise react to the prepared spiel. Nico was impressed. Most people would have turned tail and run by now, if they even stuck around long enough to hear the monologue after seeing Nico’s eyes — which were a dark, reflective black from corner to corner, no whites, pupils or irises to be seen.

Summary
Gotham was built on a cave system. Batman has referenced a Bat Cave before. Tim is currently in the cave system. He is in the cave system that he entered from Drake Manor. Drake Manor is right next door to where Batman- The Bruce Wayne- lives. Holy Cavern, Batman! Tim had just accidentally wandered into the Bat Cave’s cave system.
OR
Tim, having found a weird hole after a storm, decides to go exploring ignoring the fact that This Is Gotham and They Probably Have Cursed Stuff Down There.
Luckily, it was just a cave system that spans the entire Gotham underground. Unluckily, Tim is a very curious child.

Such a good story, I love the welcome to nightvale vibes of it as well as how unhinged tim is and the fact that if literally anything went even slightly differently than it did, he would absolutely be dead, he's like a feral raccoon with very limited self preservation instincts (he had enough to stop doing his homework by a lazarus pit when he saw rage filled zombie mice come out of it but not enough to not dip his radio in the water so now it haunts him when he speaks through it, so many layers of why tim, how are you not dead /affectionate) and exploring the tunnels that normally cause people to go mad, just really love this fic
