Summary
Quirks may have revolutionized society, bringing wondrous new powers made real and allowing humanity to enter a new golden age. Unfortunately, it also alienated those without said powers from their utopia.
Izuku would quickly learn this lesson when he was diagnosed quirkless at the age of four, watching as everyone, even his family, made it clear that he did not belong in the same world as them. But he still wanted to be a hero, even with his lack of a quirk. So he carried on until the day he lost everything.
But, where one world shunned his very existence, another welcomed him with open arms. One older than any quirk, carefully hidden from mankind and in desperate need of a new hope.
A world that Izuku could call his own with a proud smile on his face.
And it all started with the help of an unusual, but nonetheless kind saviour.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya Quirk: Scent Distinction—He can smell the unique scent of different people, which is undetectable to the average person. While most would assume this to be a ‘useless quirk,’ it has already proven to be a valuable asset for Midoriya. He once became separated from his mother and was able to locate her by following her scent. Midoriya was given an unfamiliar scent when testing and asked to follow it to whom it belonged. He could identify said person quickly and continued to locate any following scents for testing. It is apparent that he reacts to certain scents the same way animals do, finding comfort in others and disliking some.
Izuku always considered the smell of home his mother's scent of fresh-cut grass and wildflowers, mixed with his scent of pine trees and the underlying mulch. When he was little and didn’t know him, having the ability to smell these scents was his quirk; the smell of freshly chopped wood and smoke also mixed with his and his mother's scents, but Izuku barely remembers the man to whom the smell belonged to, and the scent has long since vanished from home.
After a tragedy, Izuku must find a new scent to call home, which he will find in many different places.
