“Well?” Law huffs. Doflamingo tsks, but his grin does not falter.
“We’ve received an invitation for a Selection Event.” Doflamingo waves a parchment around in one hand, and Law can already feel a headache coming on.
Selection Events were, at their core, basically marriage mixer parties. A kingdom whose heir was ready to marry would invite other kingdoms to send eligible members of their nobility to come and present themselves to the royal, who would then get to know them all in a week-long event before selecting their spouse.
“Why are you showing me this? Indulging Baby 5’s string of engagements is one thing, but you can’t make this particular engagement ‘mysteriously perish’ like all the others.” Law questioned, eyes narrowed.
Doflamingo chuckled, “No, she’s not the one going for the event.” He leaned forward with a sharp grin. “You are.”
“Excuse me!?” Law gaped.

Ace dies at Marineford, but he wakes up 22 years in the past (before his birth) in his mother's house. Oh, and he's five years old again. XD Rouge, Roger, and Ace bonding before Ace convinced Rouge to move to Fushia, where she can live and raise Ace and the baby in her belly. And, of course, Luffy and Sabo, because they're just so cute together.
