Ryland really didn't want to explain his college exploits to Colt. He did really stupid things in college, Tom Ryder being the worst of them. But there is no escape from this.
"I slept with Tom multiple times in college."
"What?!" Colt slams on the breaks, sending both of them flying forward in their seats.
"Jesus, Colt!" Ryland yelps.
Or Ryland Grace is hired as a science consultant on Jody’s newest movie but the small summer job ends up bringing Tom Ryder back into his life. Now Ryland has to act like their relationship in college and the chasm of ten years of silence doesn’t matter anymore, even though Tom is determined to bring it up at every turn.

As if he knew she was thinking about him (and wouldn’t that be funny— Spider-Man, a telepath), her phone rang, the opening notes of the Star Wars Main Theme spilling out into the train car. Jean answered it before the noise could wake anyone.
“Hello?” She asked quietly. Drawing attention on the train was the last thing she needed right now.
“Hey Jean!” Peter’s voice crackled over the line. The sound of traffic muffled his voice.
“Are you calling me on the job again?” She asked in exasperation. “You should wait until you get home.”
“Nah!” Peter grunted, and yes, he was definitely swinging around the city right now. “Evil never sleeps, and neither do I, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make time for my favorite partner in crime.”TLDR: Jean Grey needs a big brother. Peter Parker needs someone to protect. They both need to figure their new world out before everything explodes.

Rocky wakes up and finds himself on the Blip-A, surrounded by his very not-dead crewmates. The good news: not-dead crewmates! The bad news: Rocky has to convince twenty-three Eridians that he didn't just hallucinate an entire lifetime, yes it is absolutely necessary that he retrofit the entire ship with an astrophage protective shielding layer, and also, yeah, they have to hang out in space for a bit. When comparing Grace's way of acting to actual human children, while watching films, and then doing some research. Grace is Pebble, and sadly, he will never live this down. 🤣

Due to time relativity and the oddities of space and astrophage radiation, Grace has grown younger, and his aging has stagnated. Something Rocky is grateful for, but also something that will bring a lot of misunderstandings for Grace. Such as being Rocky's new alien pebble.
