Summary
Three years ago, Mo Xuanyu was born. Sort of - not literally. Three years ago, perhaps you could say, Wei Wuxian died - or five years ago, depending on who you ask. Or never at all, if you turn to an optimist. Three years ago, in the aftermath of a 251-hour surgery, Mo Xuanyu was created from the ruins of Wei Wuxian.
And he's been fine since then, he has. But now Yiling is frothing with murder and discontent, and Teacher needs him to attend a meeting. Just one.
And there are several places this story could have started. At the front door of a small, empty-ish house in the suburbs of the City. Perhaps in the basement of a far grimier city block, where a dozen cloak-clad figures gathered around a cork board stabbed with a myriad of pinned photos. Or perhaps it all began years ago in a covered courtyard, in between the rows of young children, where one boy with smiling eyes and a ribbon red as bloodied rust shoved his way beside another, suffocated in rich purple robes, and held out a hand.
Really, though, the easiest place to start this story is in the largest room on the highest floor of the tallest building in the City, where Baoshan Sanren was close to exhausting her near-limitless patience.

Summary
He was born to die, the doctors muttered, despairing fatigue heavy on their voices, as they stared at a baby which did not cry. It stared, on and on, day after day, mouth opening and shutting silently around screams, appearing so thick with agony, that his voice couldn’t reproduce them. This poor kid, they would whisper, as they called number after number, trying to find his family, he was born to die.
Test after test, as blood was drawn out of a deteriorating body, which, in the shadows of night, appeared almost grey. The doctors didn’t understand, couldn’t understand. Who had heard of a baby which was born fearing life? What sort of child came out of the womb bearing the weight of decades in eyes only just opened?
Under their breath, as they sat in the chair next to the bed, they would whisper stories of past heroes, as if they could bring strength to the child with words of valour only. Telling of demons and saviours, of hurt maidens and monsters who bore the skin of men, of stories of righteous vengeance, they did all they could.
It wasn't enough.

“Don’t you?” asked Timothy, his head cocked to the side, as he took in Tim, who, despite hours preparing for this, still didn’t look as good as he did, “I think you’ll find that you’re mistaken.” His words were venomous, hiding behind cordiality and manners.
“I’m a Wayne,” Tim repeated. “The others will be there to support me. I don’t need to do everything alone,” he said, aware that he stood by himself in his old bedroom of Wayne Manor, about to enter a gala he organised, hoping that his family stuck to the lines and narratives which he had given them.

Long before Anakin Skywalker fell to the Darkside, destroyed the Republic, stumbled back to the Light, and killed a Sith mastermind, there was a Sith Lord. One who fell to the Darkside, tried to destroy the Republic, stumbled back to the Light, and killed a Sith mastermind.
There are no new stories under the sun, and the Force is tired of hearing this one.
Revan would just like to know why they're on Tatooine again.
TLDR; The Force brings the crew of the Ebon Hawk to Tatooine roughly 4,000 years in the future to try and save the galaxy
