Another 'not enough hugs in the story' fanfic.
Maomao had always believed there were very few circumstances in which a person ought to be permitted to cling to another person in the middle of the night.
Infancy was one.
Severe blood loss was another.
There were certain poisons that produced such violent chills that restraining the patient became necessary, but she considered that less an embrace and more a practical application of body weight.
Grief, perhaps, deserved consideration.
Jinshi did not appear to be bleeding, poisoned, feverish, or an infant.
This made his current behaviour difficult to categorise.
