Summary
Zeus himself put in place the law forbidden the gods of Olympus from interfering with their mortal children's lives. It has proven utterly useless but only a weak king would rescind it.
Luckily for him Poseidon has had trouble finding a god who is powerful enough and willing to keep an eye on his children in exchange for the same action on their side.

And what does this carbon copy of Colt Seavers do when he sees him? He runs.
And maybe Colt Seavers will regret chasing his doppelganger down when a 400-pound rock spider comes to his doppelganger's rescue.
