Summary
He felt more than heard Scott huff a light laugh, turning his head till only his cheek rested on top of Abolish's head. The lack of response from his usually chatty boyfriend would normally be something he'd be concerned about, but Scott's rehearsal has run late today. It wasn't out of the ordinary for the theater major to come home too tired to ramble on like normal after that. He quickly saved his game, setting his controller to the side before gently dislodging the thespian, turning just enough to press a kiss to soft lips.
He hummed contently as they pulled apart, a small smile pulling at his expression as he catches a taste of watermelon lip balm. Scott slips away from the back of the couch to instead join him on the cushions. He eyes his tired partner as he settles beside him, "How was rehearsal?"

Summary
"Hey, Scott?" They called, watching as their boyfriend paused to look at them, icy-blue eyes filled with concern at the tension in their voice. He took a breath and continued, "How- How true are the stories surrounding vampire's not having a reflection?"
Scott's tilted his head, brows drawing together in light confusion, "It's true…" he spoke slowly, thinking over his words before saying them out loud, "I've always been fairly…proud about my appearance one could say, especially so when I was human, so losing the ability to see myself in the mirror was a difficult change…Why do you ask?"

Summary
They pulled open the exterior doors, expecting to find just the empty entryway. She was not expecting to see Pyro leaning against the wall, with a bored expression on their face. She watches his face light up when he sees her open the door, only for it to drop as he notices Drift and Cleo behind her. They panic, slamming the door shut again.
"…What was that about?" Cleo asks, their arms crossed.
"Pyro was there." She responded shakily, not turning to face the two behind her, "I wasn't expecting him to be just inside the doorway. Let me- Let me talk to him. They trust me still because of Truffle."
Drift cut Cleo off before they could give another snide comment, stepping forward to place a comforting hand on Apo's shoulder, "Good idea, let them know we're not a threat."
Apo nodded stiffly before reaching for the door again, letting Drift's hand fall away as they slipped inside. Trying not to flinch at the loud bang of the wood shutting behind her.

Summary
Owen went still has Louis' words sunk in. He turned his head enough to take another look at ancient vampire. Sure enough, his hair was a bright cyan. Which would normally mean he was in a weakened state—a state he shouldn't be in if he had been the cause of those attacks, that much human blood should have him practically back at his strength from six hundred years ago. It had to be him though—the date of the first murder lined up with when they believed he had woken up, he would have been starving then, not to mention all the stories surrounding his reign. Goldsmith being the killer is what made sense. There had to be an explanation to the hair thing.
