Summary
A collection of many albums’ worth of songs, exploring the “what ifs” of a One Direction reunion.
This project imagines the songs they might write if losing someone didn’t hurt so much.
I’m not a songwriter, and English isn’t my first language - just someone who’s spent a lifetime listening to pop music and coding, which means pattern matching is like breathing to me.
These are the songs I can hear in my head, as if they came straight from the members themselves.

Shane swayed heavily behind Hayden, lifting his head. “Guys...” he mumbled, his voice small. “What’s going...”
“It’s okay, Shane, we’re leaving soon,” Hayden said without breaking eye contact with Ilya. He leaned forward, his voice dropping to a deadly whisper. “Just- trust me for once, Rozanov. I won’t let anything happen to him.”
“No.” The word hit like a physical slap. Final. Absolute.
Hayden’s patience snapped. “Why the hell not?”
Ilya took a step forward, invading Hayden’s personal space, his posture looming, dangerous, and dark. “You think I will let him leave with someone else when he can barely stand?”
“Someone else?” Hayden scoffed, rolling his eyes in utter disbelief. “I’ve known him for ten fucking years!”
Ilya’s eyes narrowed into slits. “So have I.”
“I’m his best friend!”
“And I am his boyfriend!” Ilya snapped, a low, fierce whisper that seemed to rattle the walls.
