It's a quiet afternoon, the disciple's robe is still wrong against Sam's skin, and the infirmary is between shifts. Seth took the women for his harem. Everyone knew that going in. What they hadn't planned for was Seth moving before they could. The mission still works — he's dead, his disciples freed — but Sam sits in the infirmary doing math in her mind. That leaves a pregnancy test, a rape kit, and apple juice, terrible Merlot, and Janet being a good doctor and a better friend, in roughly that order. The recovery, it turns out, looks a lot like sushi.
