Summary
Jabber accepted that he was an omega—accepted that being an omega meant that he might have some unreasonable urges. As a science-minded person, he could look at himself, at twenty-four years old, and understand why those unreasonable urges have only worsened with age.
But he had accepted a long time ago that all that could never be in the cards, not for him.
Or, when a certain omega finds a baby in a polluted zone, what follows is a slow series of realizations he makes about himself...and about a certain alpha he's been keeping at a distance for years.

Three years after Rudo's arrival acts as a catalyst that begins the slow unraveling of the mysteries between the Sphere, the Ground, and the Watchman Series, tensions and power imbalances between the Hellguard and the Givers of the Ground finally come to a head, threatening to bring their society itself to the very brink.
Or, Zanka and Jabber find themselves at the center of a conflict that will not only determine the future of their society, but force them both to take a side to define who they are and what they mean to each other.

Summary
The man underneath him is one of those lazily charming guys who can get you to abandon common sense in favor of a quick hook-up with no strings attached. His smile is full of red flags, the kind you purposely search for when you’re having a bad day and you need something to take the edge off. Normally, Zanka’s too proper to give in to this kind of poison, but a botched mission has him chasing something, anything, to take his mind off of it.
[Or, the one where Jabber and Zanka have a one-night stand, unaware that they work for two different organizations that despise each other. Oops.]

Summary
When Zanka's choker chirps, he expects any number of regular calls. Enjin or Semiu with a job, most likely.
Instead he hears Jabber on the other end, and immediately knows something is wrong. He isn't calling to arrange a fight in his regular chipper way.
He sounds hurt. And not in the fun way. Something is terribly, terribly wrong.
“... really wanted to keep fightin’ you, y'know...”

Summary
Jabber was just so bored of his life. Or, his death, to be more accurate. He squinted idly at the horizon, where tall, looming buildings were rapidly succumbing to nature, the ivy mottling their silhouettes into jagged obelisks. Where he’d come from, and where it all began.
He sat atop the roof of a long abandoned convenience store, in a small town that lay just on the outskirts of the city where the first breakout had gone down. Ground Zero, all the movie nerds called it. Jabber just called it home.
