Summary
"I've missed your—your mark. Your smile," Remi replies. He gestures to his chest, his collarbone, with his residual forearm—his hand still digging into Maria's hip. "Since I've been back. Y'know?"
Maria smiles with all his teeth at him, feels himself clench down around Remi involuntarily. "Oh, amorzinho, that's beautiful." Her mark. Her smile. "You want me to carve you open again? You liked that?"

"Labirinto," Jae sighs, drawing the word—his name—into a singsong trill. He blinks, draws his gaze in the mirror to Jae's face. They drape themself over him, arms over his shoulders, cheeks pressed together. He's sitting on the end of the bed, naked, having taken a moment to gather himself while Escarlata tended to Jae. Speaking of—
(Jae and Labi get some alone time after their... encounter with Escarlata; Jae has ideas for how to spend it.)

Summary
Mia and her father are paranormal investigators who take it on themselves to protect the veil that separates humanity from the fae realm by locating and handling witches who seek to damage it. A victim they rescue from a witch's clutches claims to not just be a victim of fae magic but a changeling, a piece of the fae realm forced to exist as a human. In exchange for shelter and being allowed to explore her connection to the fae realm, she leads Mia and Veríssimo closer than they've ever been to a deadly scheme.
Arthur is a barkeeper, working at his surrogate mother's bar where he practically grew up and trying to rebuild his life after a devastating house fire. Attempts to get close with a cute new coworker, though, get him into a lot more trouble than he bargained for.
As a dangerous plan spirals towards its conclusion, can these five unlikely allies band together to save the day—and are they willing to pay the steep price that will take?

Summary
"Kemi? Henri?" Aguiar calls ahead of him as he makes his way up the ladder. "Are you guys alright? We're—Dalmo's gonna be fine, Pomba's helping him out, and we checked out Giovanni's birdcage thing, so Henri could you come look at—um." He stands, looks over at the rest of the upper level, and stops dead. "What the fuck are you guys doing?"
Henri has Kemi backed against one of the support beams, her hand dug into his hair, their lips pressed together—Aguiar wonders if it's already too awkward to just go back down the ladder and pretend he was never here.
Before he can make a decision, Kemi yanks Henri away from her face by his hair—he makes a loud noise whose emotion Aguiar can't place—and grins at Aguiar. "That's it exactly, darling, good eye."

Dominik and Renée's story hadn't been the kind of romantic story that would make one think We will always have Paris.
Of course, after everything that happened, Dominik would find himself thinking. At least that. At least we had Paris.
Or, the story of a man who fell in love with a woman who loved the stars, and all the tragedies that followed.

Summary
The problem is River.
Or, more specifically, it’s the way that every time Louisa blinks, the afterimage of River laying on the ground between those shelves, covered in debris, is burned into the backs of her eyelids. It wouldn’t have been so bad, probably, if he hadn’t had to take off immediately to deal with that folder, or if Louisa had said fuck the debrief and gone with him. If they hadn’t been separated right after making it out of the hatch, they — or, at least, Louisa would probably be fine.
But they were. Separated.
--
Post season 3. Louisa and River share a bowl of dry cereal, a difficult conversation, and a bed, in that order.
