Summary
“Soap was falling to his death, but strangely, he never felt more alive.
He felt wild. The roaring, thundering drum of a war song, encompassing all of his being, letting him go, making him free. It was such an almighty sound.”
Or: Soap fell through the window when Ghost took a shot in Chicago, ran into a shapeshifter and got a dad out of it, learnt more about Ghost past, and got his heritage revealed to him in a response to his own joke. Not necessarily in that order.

Summary
“Alright Captain. . . Bring them in, I’m ready.”
Price nods, stepping towards the heavy metal door that leads towards the wall with the two-way mirror. He’s gone behind it, leaving Ghost alone in the room but it’s not for long. A minute later he’s dragging someone in harshly, a white knuckled grip on the man’s shoulder and then he’s shoving him towards the center of the room, blindfolded with his hands tied behind his back.
The man staggers, disoriented as he wobbles to his knees in an attempt not to face plant into the concrete underneath him and Ghost’s heart sinks.
It’s Johnny.
Or
GhostSoap mock interrogation where Soap just won't break. It get's nasty, Soap won't buckle. Ghost finds out that the intel he was supposed to get from Johnny was Ghost's location.

Summary
As soon as his boots echoed against the ramp of the helo, a switch in his mind quietly flipped. The persistent fog he’d dutifully kept at bay for the past… he wasn’t even sure anymore… rolled in with a vengeance muting the loud rotors above and shouts from the poor bastards tasked with picking him up. Even the tug on the rifle strap as his arms went limp without permission barely registered.
His body was quickly shutting down in the relative safety of the helo and there was nothing Soap could do to stop it.

So, so sweet. No hurt exhausted/comfort instead. Ghost takes such sweet care of Soap. M/M but only non-sexual touching.

Summary
Soap needs this. To be himself, loud and outgoing, grabbing a chance to socialize.
But he’s also aware not every person he crosses paths with is going to be a fan of his demeanor. This is practically a vital skill for him, learned well throughout the years. Despite the impression most people get of him, Soap can read the signs. Knows when not to impose. Especially, when stuck in one place for too long.

Summary
Dragons were an insular, reclusive species. Hunts of old drove them to the brink of extinction, leaving the few remaining clans with a well earned wariness, if not outright fear, of the world at large. They stayed hidden, either far from prying in the wildest regions of the world or in plain sight. Most of the rest of the world knew very little about them, aside from the sparse rumors and folklore that remain from days of old, and the clans were happy to keep it that way. The less the outside world meddled in their affairs, the happier they were.
That said, one thing was well known and documented about dragons: possessiveness was written in their blood.
Or, John "Soap" MacTavish is a dragon. Task Force 141 is his hoard. This changes everything, and nothing at all.

OMG! This story is so fucking sad! I wouldn’t have read it if there wasn’t a HEA. The whole journey is sweet and Johnny just loves Simon so much!
Don’t read in public. Or anywhere near public.

Summary
In theory, it’s an easy plan of action: Soap heals with Ghost by his side and life goes back to the way it was before. Effortless and efficient, just like how they’ve always handled tough missions.
But with a newly broken brain, pent-up feelings, and a possible medical discharge looming on the horizon, everything is often easier said than done.

Don’t read first two chapters in public. 😭 beautiful story. The ending is really kind of 20 and 21. 21 is a short chapter but seems almost like it’s part of the wrap up that starts in 20. Fantastic sweet ending.
Read waiting room also. It’s a cut from this of Price’s POV

The first time, Ghost survived alone. The second time, he has Johnny MacTavish by his side—or, more accurately, on top of him. It should make it easier.
It doesn't, exactly.Bookmarked by Floopdeedoopdee

So freakin good. It says 1 of 2 chapters but it already has an ending I think. Maybe there will be bonus angst in chapter 2.

Summary
It was supposed to be an easy mission. So easy, in fact, that Soap had been tasked with his very own crew. Young, bright-eyed rookies, setting sail to experience their first ever 'mission'.
Abandoned building. Recon only, gather information. Keep everyone alive. He could do that.

Soap fails, and it hits him harder than he ever expected it to.

Soap continues looking at his father, hands shaking as he stares back.
"Not going to say anything to your mother? To good for us now that you're a soldier." Soaps father sneers.
"Sorry Sir. Mother, nice to see you again." Soap replies automatically, no emotion in his voice.Or
As a surprise, Price gets Soaps parents a visitation pass for the day. He didn't know that Soap doesn't have a good relationship with his father. Soap always talks about how good he had it growing up, no-one realized he was lying.

Summary
There was no “Come In, We’re Open!” sign. No lights on inside; the windows were completely dark. Johnny had half a thought to turn around, but where would he go without risking getting even more lost on this strange back road? Just as he was about to knock, the latch clicked open and the door swung inward.
A cat slipped out from the cracked doorway and trotted off down the alley, carrying a kitten-sized bundle of purple fabric in its mouth. Perhaps it was cliché but Johnny was secretly disappointed to see a calico. Didn’t all gloomy back-alley shops that suddenly appeared out of nowhere—that were probably, definitely haunted—have a black cat or two guarding the grounds?
“Don’t mind him, he’s making a delivery for me. You must be thirsty. Join us for tea?” The door open wider and Johnny stared at the man the deep, velvety voice belonged to.

Summary
The thought of one day the image of Ghost's face blurring in his memories keeps Soap up at night, so he draws his face anytime he can, desperate to keep the details fresh in his mind. His little hobby ended up filling many journals, which would be fine except when he finds Gaz and Price holding one of them. Frantic to keep his little crush secret along with maintaining the trust Ghost has in him, he lies about who it is. The only issue is that Ghost overhears.

Summary
He shoves him away by the shoulders, exhausted and in pain. “You have to go, Sir. Leave me behind.”
Ghost rolls his eyes, not even trying to hide it. “I won’t leave you here, Johnny.”
“Ghost. I can’t walk. The enemy is everywhere, and all I’m doing is slowing you down.” He pats Ghost’s breast pocket, feeling the firm shape of a flash drive within. “You got what we came for, right? Get it to Price, then come back for me.”
Ghost shakes his head. “We’re a team.”
