Summary
The metal under his arms was warm.
This gave Parrot a lot to work with, actually. Firstly, metal. His bed wasn’t normally made of metal. That meant he was in an unknown location, or at least a different one.
Secondly, arms. His arms were folded under his head. He wasn’t sure what that meant, but it didn’t quite make sense with the impersonality of the metal. On his left arm, there was something pressed against his skin, something he couldn’t quite identify.
Thirdly, warm. Warm was the most unnerving part. Warm meant Parrot had been here a long time, and it was supported by the stiff feeling in his joints, as he tried to move. His ankles met leather, and something similar was around his waist, just above his tailbone. He was wearing… trousers, he was sure, but nothing above his waist. Not a good sign.
load bearing 'non consensual body modification' tag that basically makes all the rest unnecessary. thats basically all you need to know.

Summary
Nothing changed, around here. School persisted on, each and every one of their personal black hole, dragging them in as they tried to spiral outward. It was an endless cycle. Leave, return, wonder when they’d finally have the power to resist the endless draw back to where they all began.
Parrot had high hopes, for himself. His wings were coming to fruition, and he was built for more than mapping the escape routes to his top-floor geography classroom. One of these days, he’d be able to fly, free of the germs that reproduced like teenagers left unsupervised down here.
Odyssey duo Heathers.

Summary
Intelligent going. Leo nearly gave up there and then, but he couldn’t, not when both of his teammates were here. And Clown was watching him, he could feel it, in that heightened state of attentiveness his teammate always got when his adrenaline was still going.
