This is an alternative good ending universe crack ship WITHOUT any pdf horrors or blonde French people horrors. I came up with it because I thought the actors were cool, and the characters had interesting backstories and deserved to torture each other instead of other people. It was kind of a joke, but it got out of hand, and here we are. Old men yaoi always leads me to places I wouldn't even go with a gun. So yeah, not really show-canon compliant, not really book-canon compliant, but a secret third thing.

Dad is 71, early stage Parkinson’s disease, broke his hip 6 weeks ago. No signs of cognitive decline; mostly needs help with household tasks (cooking, light cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping), getting dressed, showering, changing cat litter/general cat care, getting to and from appointments.
Please know what you are getting into; Dad is physically more or less in good health but awful at accepting his limitations, unnecessarily mean, generally uncooperative, and largely nocturnal. Imagine yourself caring for a feral raccoon that is convinced it’s going to write another book, then subtract everything that is cute about raccoons.
$20/hour, roughly 4 hours a day. Must be able to pass a background check and lift 50 lbs. Patience of a saint not required but preferred.- Language:

Summary
Author's Note: This one is strange, but it's also of the most beautiful things I've ever written. If you like my other stories you should probably give it a try.
It starts very dark. Basically what happened is I tried to write a hurt-no-comfort one shot about Astarion being dragged out of his year in the crypt, immediately thrown back into hunting while barely functional, being walked home by a concerned half-orc who could tell he wasn't all right, and then delivering that half-orc to Cazador Szarr.
I then felt so sad about the situation I had created I had to write 50K to make it better.

Usually, the long climb up the barren hillside means he sees any of his visitors coming long before they reach him. He knows all their faces too, by now; even the villagers who do not attend his services. This man is new.
He is well-dressed. Exceptionally well-dressed. Gale has seen neither cloth nor embroidery so fine since he arrived here. His stark white hair is precisely styled, the curls barely moving in the not inconsiderable wind.
He turns as Gale approaches. His hearing must be astonishing.
Gale almost does a double take. Though the fashion, when he was a boy, was to be pale, he has never seen a man as pale as this. His skin is like porcelain, like so many women would have killed to have been born with. There's something almost uncanny about it, in actuality. On the wind-blown clifftop, it makes him seem like a ghost. A beautiful ghost, undoubtedly. But a ghost, all the same.

Despite not going through with the Rite of Profane Ascension, starting to perform the ritual has left Astarion with some extra abilities. The most useful one is the ability to turn into a bat at will. Getting blood-drunk on Gale in exchange for promising to hunt down a mosquito in the room is perhaps not their finest idea but it does lead to some interesting consequences.
