Summary
Susie didn't think that early adulthood would be this lonely. With both Kris and Noelle off at college, life just wasn't as fulfilling. Sure, she had work to do (growing into a musclebound giant when her second puberty hit gave her a surprising number of job opportunities) and she could always visit Castle Town, but it just wasn't the same.
So when Kris and Noelle return to Hometown, Susie resolves to spend as much time as possible with both of them. There's just one snag - for reasons Susie can't figure out, Noelle always leaves early, running home just as things are getting comfortable.
