    Percy really is trying hard not to let it bother him. He's used to at this point people just passing him over. Or doing the bare minimum if it wasn't his own Mom. But to have this keep happening at camp where he was supposed to belong. To be basically told that even if he died he probably wasn't worth more then his enemy's 10 minutes at most?

    It hurt.

    The shroud in The Lightning Thief is fucked up and should have been called out instead of being laughed off as a joke.

    “Charles Rowland, hi!” said Charles, already wincing at his own timing. He hadn’t realised the ghost was winding up to the big reveal. Whoops.

    “Well, I think that’s pretty reasonable, seeing as you’re dead and all.”
    “Yes, Charles. I am dead. And she does not give a damn, so why is she here?”
    “Maybe she does, though,” Charles said. “Wouldn’t that be aces? If you could… reconnect somehow?”
    Edwin looked Charles up and down. “No,” he said simply.
