The first man stood from the chair and grabbed his fur lined jacket off the wall. “I am sure. Just make a deal with Redoons to get the gear back and we’ll be sorted.” With that he left the room, heavy footsteps following. The second man sighed heavily, slumping in his chair, smoothing down his hair. Eventually he got out his phone and made the arrangement with Redoons, having to promise more loot than before to compensate. This stupid bird is going to be the death of this organization before it's even truly begun.
He took a dagger out of his inventory and aimed it at the photo of Parrot-X2 on his desire board, hitting him square in the face. As long as he keeps his precious bird in check, all will fall into place.
OR:
An Unstable Universe Hero AU that's Parrot and Theobald-centric because I said so!! (And so did my beta reader!!) It's filled with angst, drama, Spoke on drugs!! A lot of vaping from Wemmbu, and death!! Typical Unstable! :D

“Ready to fire at my command.” He glanced back at Nitenly and then looked up to where the rain fell. He could riptide out of here and avoid all of this, make it to Egg and find whatever the hell this Forge could be. Or he could slash Nitenly’s throat and take a few hits, then make his great escape. The second option seemed better, he could take it. Even with his armour about to break, even with the lack of any food, he could take it. He has to. It would be pathetic if he let Jaden die such a death– it wouldn't be right. Wemmbu’s mace turned to a netherite sword as he faced away from Spoke, glaring down at the soon to be next death message.
“Ready!”
Wemmbu spun the sword and readied himself, digging his heel into the ground and taking a deep breath. “Aim!” The click of the crossbows echoed against the rain, acting like thunder. The killer looked down at the bloodied and shaking man, heart no longer racing, his mind finally clear. Nitenly was not about to escape unharmed.
“Fire!--”

“I saw your face.” He blurted out. That made Jaden freeze. He stared down at him, both legs lodged onto either side of the endling. “I have. I– were–”
“I didn't think you'd remember that.” Jaden mumbled, almost to himself it seems. Wemmbu brought a hand up to the man's mask and grabbed the knot that was under his plait, Jaden hand snapping up to grab his wrist. “Don't. Don't– do that.”
“Why?” He asked, a little more desperate than he meant to sound. “I saw it once, I wanna see it now–”
“You want to?” Jaden asked, staring down at Wemmbu with– something in his eyes. It was a brief shimmer, enough to catch the endling by surprise.
Did he? Was he jealous that drunk him got to see Jadens face and he didn't, or is it just plain curiousity?
OR:
After getting drunk, Wemmbu finds Jaden in his bed running a hand through his hair. What the hell got him here?
A sequel to "A tale of a drunken pirate" which you do have to read if you want context-- but I'm sure it can be stand alone if you try hard enough! For the four people who asked for a part two, this is for youse!

“C’mon dude, let the guy drink!” The fish man said, raising his glass. “It’ll be more fun that way! He deserves it after coming back from one of Arachnids mission” Wemmbu shot Jaden another victorious grin. Two to one. Either Jaden forfeit or has to join in. The killer knew when Jaden sighed into his chair and placed his cards on the table, took his hat off to shield his face from Wemmbu and down his next whiskey without any reaction– he knew, the game had begun.
OR
Wemmbu drinks with Jaden and Codmaster to try get his mind off a few things, it (un)surpsingly goes sideways! Wemmbu is never drinking again after this.
