Summary
In a mirror universe, the Astral Express is a war train, and Akivili lays rails only to conquer. When Aha arrives uninvited with an offer of alliance, the terms are simple: crush the other Aeons, divide the universe, then turn on each other. But Aha has a private goal, which is to make the coldest being in existence laugh just once. And Akivili, who has mapped a thousand worlds, keeps a notebook full of data they cannot explain.
Is it love, or a power game more dangerous than war?

Summary
Aha enjoyed dancing, a basic but fun form of enjoyment. They loved teaching Akivili the first steps of a basic dance without the gaze of any little Fool or Nameless!
-
Aha still enjoyed dancing, despite the pain and stress these two parasites caused on THEIR body! Woe is THEM! THEY'LL have to make do with the little mobility THEY still possess.
-
Nihilux has fuzzy memories from the original, thoughts and feelings that aren't really... hers. She learned to ignore most, after all this time. But she can't help but feel that familiarity when she's around Stelle. As if she met them long, long before that time in the Simulated Universe.---
A first dance, a death dance, and a reunion/meeting.

Summary
"Why did you lie to me when I asked if you’ve ever been in love?” Stelle states, putting her hands on her hips. Better to just come out and say it directly than dance around it. Aha’s expression freezes, the fireworks sputter before puffing and wheezing back to life, even the music scratches and distorts for a second before resuming. Immediately, Aha’s eyes dart away, avoiding Stelle’s probing gaze.
“I-I don’t know what you mean by…” Aha begins.
“You’re doing it again,” Stelle interrupts and Aha twitches. “I wouldn’t care if you just refused to answer outright or said it was none of my business. But you dodged the question, and then when you did say it, you were so obviously hiding something that you may as well have not answered at all,” she says accusingly.
“Is my love life really that important to you?” Aha asks, still looking away from her.
“Is what happened such a big secret that you really have to avoid me like this?”
~~~~~
Nihilux had honestly answered every question, except for one. "Have you ever been in love?" the answer such an obvious lie that it sticks in Stelle's head well after it was spoken. She doesn't know why Aha misled her, but she is determined to find out.
Summary
“Well,” Maelle asks brightly, “what did you think?”
The pianist seemed familiar, somehow, though he is quite certain they’d never actually met before.
“His music was very beautiful,” is what Gustave eventually settles on, “but he seemed - a little sad. Didn’t he?”
