Summary
On a bitterly cold and snowy December night, Cassian, fresh out of postwar Japan and desperate for a little peace, finds solace in a familiar bar. He’s just looking for some quiet and some safety; he’s not expecting to be knocked senseless by the woman who comes in like hell on heels.

Summary
"It had been innocent enough to offer her warm clothes.
It no longer was when she stood naked in his bedroom and let him look. When, suddenly, he remembered he was bare too, wet clothes at his feet.
He told himself it was a necessary release the moment their bodies met. A fated magnetism that had her gasping and arching into his mattress, her nails unforgiving as they raked down his back.
Nesta had fallen asleep so quickly after that first coupling that Cassian hadn’t even asked what it all meant.
All he knew was that it kept happening. Once, twice, then for a few weeks. Then two months."
---
In which Nesta and Cassian begin hooking up shortly after the war, and they each think the other just wants sex. Naturally, this goes about as well as you can expect.

Summary
Instead of taking her on a hike, Cassian realizes that something has to give - and takes Nesta to spend some time at the cabin, where the two of them re-evaluate their relationship and decide what to do moving forward.
A Court of Silver Flames re-write exercise starting from Chapter 47, because sometimes we have to write the characters that we wish to see in the world.

Summary
Just a lord of bloodshed, standing in front of lady death, asking her to love him ❤️
Inspired by the Orville Peck, Noah Cyrus song "How Far Will We Take It?
Nesta and Cassian head to the mountains as pretend mates to save Cassian’s reputation. Post ACOFAS, in place of ACOSF.
AKA Nesta and Cassian as a Romantic Comedy.
Forced proximity, fake relationship, second chance, enemies to lovers, grand gestures, witty best friends- basically all the rom com tropes with canon Easter eggs throughout ❤️Bookmarked by Fwiggle
