Across the Shivering Sea, far to the north, lies a veil of mist and jagged spires of stone that have claimed thousands of ships.
Beyond those treacherous waters stands a kingdom untouched by the Iron Throne.
Legends tell that, during the Conquest, Aegon the Dragon and his sister-queens crossed the Veil and returned with warriors unlike any Westeros had ever seen. Giants, some called them. Monsters, whispered others.
Men taller than any knight, wielding great axes, bearing unbreakable spirits, and riding boats no men could remake.
When Aegon finally claimed the Iron Throne, those warriors vanished back into the mist.
They were never seen again.
Until now.
An ancient pact, forged by their forefathers and sealed in dragon's blood, has been unearthed. To honor it, the Greens have reached beyond the known world, unknowingly inviting a hidden empire onto the board.
An empire where dragons are not weapons...
...but family.
Now Prince Daemon Targaryen stands at a crossroads.

Named Hiccup?
That was... Unexpected.
More unexpected than finding dragon riders beyond the reach of House Targaryen. History recorded that dragonlords other than his own family had once existed.
But Hiccup?
Surely the name meant something in whatever tongue these people spoke. If it meant what Daemon believed it did, then someone owed him a very good explanation as to why a dragon rider had been burdened with such a name.
