"well- when" she lowers her voice to a whisper her next words, just in case "the contract ends. you'll be either going alone again- or with Ashley, right? so all this-" she nodded to the sparkling people and decor inside "the dresses, the parties…you. it's a once in a lifetime kinda thing for me."
"gonna miss it?" just you the instant thought flashed across her mind.
she did a little laugh looking up at the sky briefly "no." she answered shifting her weight to her other foot "not really my style."
