Summary
When Wise's fiancé, the voidhunter Hoshimi Miyabi, becomes aware of Pyrois and the horror of Helios Academy's destruction, she gives Wise an ultimatum: get out of the city or I'll kill you. Not doubting Miyabi's conviction, Belle and Fairy manage to get Wise involved in a traveling internship with Marcel Group. This would keep Wise out of New Eridu for at least a year. Guilt-ridden and defeated, Wise agrees, if only as a way to give him time to think.
The internship takes him to the secret flying city of Roscaelifer via airship. On the windswept walking deck, high above the clouds, he encounters Remielle Dan. A winged figure resplendent in the sunlight, burdened with guilt and regrets of her own.
But the city in the sky holds answers they each seek. Perhaps together, they can both find what they need, and in each other, taste what they truly desire.

Robert was special, Courtney always knew that.
He wasn't perfect, in the literal sense at least. He messed up here and there just like everyone else, but 9/10 times he was able to match anyone's energy and always seemed to know just what to do and say for them no matter the situation. It was no wonder he had so many people on his side with some not even bothering to hide their attraction for him.
But out of all of them he chose her. And he was just so damn perfect in her eyes, giving her his everything and then some no matter how stupid or bitchy she ever got with him. He was so impossibly perfect in fact that she couldn't help but feel worse about herself as she "failed" to satisfy him again and again in the bedroom no matter how much he said to the contrary.
And after a particular night of intense passion and love-making after a shockingly sweet gift Courtney can't stop herself from wanting to give the man more...
