Summary
"You're very bold for someone who spilled a drink on the Crown Prince."
She rolled her eyes. She actually rolled her eyes. "You're not the Prince."
Satoru's brows lifted. "No?"
"No prince would be this rude."
He considered correcting her. He could have ended the mystery instantly. He could have removed his mask, watched recognition dawn in her eyes, and enjoyed the apology that would surely follow.
But he found that he didn't want to. Not yet.
Instead, he leaned slightly closer. "What makes you so certain?"
"Because a prince would have been taught to behave."
"Maybe I'm a poorly raised prince."
"Then I pity your tutors."
"You shouldn't. They're very well compensated."
That earned him a reluctant glance. There was something in her expression he couldn't quite name. Suspicion, certainly. Annoyance. But beneath both was curiosity. But she didn't believe for one moment that he was who he said he was.
The realization pleased him more than it should have.
And now he's completely fascinated and determined to uncover the identity of the only woman who treated him like an annoyance.

Summary
Satoru leaned over the table, searching for her eyes. With that movement, his scent suddenly overwhelmed her senses— a faint, not-unpleasant sweat, soap, and that scent that could only belong to him—that familiar scent she couldn’t describe, the one that transported her back to those nights when she’d pretended to be asleep, trembling with fear—
“Weren’t you ever tempted?” His soft whisper drew her eyes to his like a magnet. “Did you never long for a man who’d kill for you?”Mind the tags!

Summary
"After everything we’ve been through, you just decide to walk away?"
"Who do you think is the selfish one between the two of us?"
A sudden argument breaks out, and Gojo and Utahime have a very public spat, and neither one is backing down.
Utahime Iori, a veteran actress, was comfortable with her reliable co-star. But when last-minute casting changes force her to work with Satoru Gojo, the industry's hot A-lister, keeping her professionalism on set becomes almost impossible. Especially when Gojo's relentless "method acting" seems designed specifically to push her buttons.

Summary
She never wanted to be a sorcerer. At least, that was what Iori Utahime told herself as she stood before the classroom as the only "new girl."
Then there was him. The boy with the white hair, infuriatingly smug smile and piercing blue eyes that could see past every wall she had tried so hard to put up around herself.
He got under her skin because it was easy; fun. She told herself she hated him. That he was annoying. That she could never love anyone again after her parents' death. Until he somehow became her safe space, and eventually something she couldn't stand to lose.
He stayed and he waited, refusing to call it devotion. Yet soon enough, as her walls started to slowly crumble, Utahime realized that even falling in love with the strongest couldn't keep her heart completely safe.
