I’ll delete this fic if asked by them.(This is based entirely off of their rp characters (the characters they act out as) in game, not on real life)
————Technoblades perspective.
They're both idiots. It’s a on the verge of being a slowburn, i suppose (mainly start on 2nd chapter).
Technoblade is, without even realising it, touchstarved - him being him, completely unused to contact.
Which is one of the reasons why, when Dream suddenly takes an interest in his well being, he’s understandably confused. Seen as the men have never truly interacted beyond pleasantries.
(It only switches a bit to Dreams POV near the end.)

Marcus Flint, the idiot he was, crossed someone who has become a person whom you wouldn't even -b e g i n- to think of messing with.
Harry Potter.
Which, as per usual due to Flints’ inability to form an intellectual thought, was obviously a severe lapse in judgment.So. After making an example of Marcus infront of Slytherin house, Harry decides that the mere punishment he received wasn't enough.

EMPATHY – If you stop, or move on to your next mind project, it might make things worse than they were before you started. If Cuno has someone showing him kindness, it might hurt worse when it stops, because he was finally getting used to it.
INLAND EMPIRE – Will it truly make it worse? Or will he just realize how bad it was?
VOLITION – Kindness is rarely a complete mistake.

After Martinaise, Harry has been functioning as a boring cop line detective while Precinct 41 makes sure the brain damage won't prevent him from doing his job without making the evening news. When Jean is injured following a lead, Harry is expected to step back in, run C-Wing, and find out what exactly happened. The truth, however, may lead even further back than Harry can remember and take him places he’d rather not go.
