Summary
Izuna should've known that being sent to co-lead a mission with Senju Tobirama wouldn't go well. In all fairness, nobody could have predicted that Tobirama would end up in some sort of sealing accident that turned into a child with no memory of his adult self. Which meant no knowledge of the Uchiha and Senju being at peace, no concept of Konoha, and worse- all the emotional fragility and vulnerability of a born sensor. No one ever told Izuna that Tobirama had been a sickly, frail kid. No one had ever implied what kind of parent Senju Butsuma must've been to leave a kid twitchy and silent, stoic in the face of pain or perceived kidnapping. No one said Tobirama had ever been this tiny and damn cute. Except maybe Hashirama. Damn he should've listened to Hashirama.
