Summary
Miasma has a back up plan. One last means of escape from the airlock, buried in the pile of artifacts she had Nureyev collect. Juno manages to stop her, but being teleported away means Nureyev is left behind — with the certainty that Juno is dead. Summary
Merlin glared at her, one ear to Arthur’s keyhole.
It was beneath her to kneel down next to him, but Ladies weren’t supposed to eavesdrop in the first place. She could shout and alert Arthur that Merlin was spying, but she wanted to know what was going on too. She could see the same cogs turning behind Merlin’s eyes, in the slight parting of his mouth.
She returned Merlin’s glare, then waved her hand in a shooing motion that she knew would never work. (She had met Merlin before.) He narrowed his eyes, shrugged, and held out a hand in the universal rock paper scissors gesture.
