Summary
Les premières semaines auraient dû être les plus difficiles pour Draco. Une humiliation constante malgré le fait que tous se taisaient. Lui-même ne parlait pas. Mais cela n'empêchait pas la chappe de plomb qui recouvrait son front, ses épaules et sa nuque de peser encore et encore.
Une histoire en deux partie couvrant la 8e année de Draco à Poudlard et puis ses premières années de jeune adulte. C'est un récit sur la découverte et l'acceptation de soi, de ce qu'on ne peut pas prévoir, sur l'amitié et sur l'amour sous toutes ses formes. Cette histoire touche aussi au sujet de la santé mentale, de l'anxiété et de la manière de vivre avec ce qu'on n'a pas choisi.

C’est durant cet instant de flottement entre deux respirations que tout se passe. L’instant d’avant ta main est captive de la mienne, consentante, caressante et l’instant d’après, la réalité se fissure, le monde s’écroule, je perds pied à l’intérieur de moi-même et je ne tente même pas de saisir ta main déjà offerte, j’oublie même qu’elle existe, j’oublie tout et rien à la fois, tout est clair soudain, douloureusement, atrocement clair depuis la seconde où je l’ai vu pénétrer dans ce restaurant.

Last night, as they danced to bad music in the living room, Damen wearing that stupidly big grin on his face and picking him up without stumbling for a single second to kiss him hard, Laurent didn’t feel any of the anxiety he thought he would.
He thought the smell of liquor on his lover’s breath would bring up too many bad memories if he allowed it in the bedroom. He thought he would feel anxious and afraid, that Damen, as gentle as he is, might be too rough if he was too drunk to control himself. But he wasn’t. Damen was just… Damen.
