Despite that, what you have now is more than you ever expected to have again. More than you ever expected to want again.
Still, no matter how well things are going, it takes you aback when Rewind comes to your quarters. Alone.

The once massive, bulky frame he had committed to memory was no more, instead the bot before him was half the size, baring blunt denta and delicate fists raised in a defensive position with finials flicked back.
He was briefly reminded of Ravage when she was first brought back to base as nothing more that a cyberkit.
"Prime," sick delight dripped from the word, his grin growing wider, "or is it just Optimus now?"
